Here at GMS we stock a large range of workshop equipment including lifts, stands and tools.

Paddock Stands
BikeTek Front and Rear Paddock Stands allow easy and safe lifting of wheels for most repair and maintenance jobs. Extra heavy duty construction, these stands are available in red finish, supplied with front under-fork or rear swingarm cup adaptors. A bobbin hook kit is available for rear stands. Features:

Front Head Stand 
The BikeTek front head stand folds out to enable a motorcycle to be lifted by the front steering head tube. This offers maximum access to the front end for all repair, cleaning and maintenance work. Each stand is supplied with a kit of 5 of the most popular sized head lift pins covering 90% of motorcycles (including 13mm, 15mm, 16.5mm, 17mm and 18mm). Other larger size pins are available seperately. Pins are easily and quickly changeable, making the stand extremely versatile accross a wide range of bikes.  

Static Rear Stand
This new rear stand from Biketek offers a unique method of motorcycle storage, especially suited for longterm private home storage. A steel support bar is inserted through the rear wheel axle, which is then secured to the stand body. The bike is pushed backwards and raises into position on the stand. 

Cleaning and maintenance work can be carried out when the bike is mounted on the stand (except for tasks that involve removal of the rear wheel) Front paddock stands can still be used in conjunction with the Biketek static stand. Manufactured from 1.4mm steel, 23mm diameter tubing, the stand is a 1pc unit requiring no assembly and offering optimum strength and rigidity. Finished in durable powder-coating and with protective ground-contact bungs.  

Wheel Chock

Tubular wheel chock supports front wheel of bike during storage and transit. Fully adjustable to fit wheels 15” to 18”. Features pivot clamp which locks the front wheel securely by the bike weight.

They can be delivered directly to you from the wholesaler and are transported in wooden crates via carrier. The driver will need help unloading as they weigh approximately 420 Kgs (ideally fork lift truck).

UTAG - In Case of Emergency

When you can't speak for yourself , UTAG can provide vital medical information and more... Designed to be the first point of reference in an emergency.

  The emergency services can check who to contact on your behalf and access vital medical information. No one wants to think about having an accident but if it does happen, then the best thing is to be prepared.

The UTAG stores information including the following:
- Emergency contact details
- Doctors contact details
- Blood type and key medical information

It also has:
- Auto translation of key medical information in 7 lanugages
- Private folder to store encrypted copies of important documents such as Drivers Licence, passport, travel documents, insurance etc.
- Water and Dust resistant
- Print option.

UTAG is a recoginised product. As part of their normal procedure a trained person will check an unconscious or delirious person for medical devices. The UTAG  has the recognised letters ICE on the device which stands for In Case of Emergency and the Staff and snake emblem in the paramedic star. These alert the person searching that the UTAG  is a medical information device.

So what does that software look like?

 This is the screen that will first appear when the UTAG software is opened. It is the only screen available without using a password and will be the one used by the emergency services should the need arise. A photograph can be attached as shown and all the information you want to display can be clearly seen.

From Bike It we have a selection of heated grips.

Freezing hands on a bike is no fun, and not being able to feel the controls can be potentially dangerous. Installing a set of heated-grips to any bike solves that, fi t the grips and switch-module onto the bars, a little wiring, provides instant heat to the hands whenever needed.

These are a much cheaper alternative than the Dri-Viz at only £9.99 .

However this vest is not vented and made from a soft non breathable fabric compared to the vented fabric of the Dri-Viz.
